Rachel Bordas is a governance, risk and assurance professional with more than 15 years' experience helping organisations bring clarity to complexity. She works with boards, executives and business leaders to identify risks, strengthen governance frameworks and develop practical solutions that protect people, support compliance and improve organisational performance.

Rachel is a Certified OHS Professional (COHSProf), a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and holds qualifications in occupational health and safety and business management. She has held Executive Director and Non-Executive Director appointments and has supported organisations across the property, construction, infrastructure, corporate and not-for-profit sectors.

Her career spans leadership roles within property, construction, facilities management and corporate environments, where she has worked closely with executive teams, boards and operational leaders to strengthen governance, improve performance and drive sustainable outcomes.

Rachel has led the development of risk and safety frameworks, management systems, assurance programs and operational improvement initiatives across organisations ranging from national portfolios to growing businesses. Her experience combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of commercial realities and organisational leadership.

Today, through NB Risk, Rachel provides practical, independent advice to organisations seeking clarity, confidence and accountability in the management of risk.
